Care Instructions:
To keep the loops soft, protect printed graphics, and prevent the cotton from shrinking, use these guidelines:
- Washing: Always wash the shirt inside out in cold water (30°C) on a gentle cycle. Cold water locks in the fabric color and protects the front car graphic. Use a mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent and avoid chlorine bleach.
- Skip the Fabric Softeners: Avoid using fabric softeners. They apply a waxy coating that flattens and stiffens the inner loops, reducing the natural absorbency and breathability of the cotton.
- Drying: Line-dry or hang dry the shirt in the shade. Avoid tumble dryers, as intense heat will flatten the loops and cause the garment to shrink by 2–3%. Keep it out of direct, harsh sunlight to avoid fading the rich red stripes.
- Ironing: Iron inside out on a low-to-medium heat setting. Never run a hot iron directly over the front F1 car print.
- Storage: Fold the shirt rather than hanging it. Heavyweight streetwear fabrics can slowly stretch out at the shoulders if left on standard hangers for long periods.
